So, a good friend of mine told me last Tuesday that she wanted to learn how to sew, 'sew' we made it happen this weekend!
What started out as a little baby sitting/sleepover ended up being a weekend of sewing, wine sipping, and an all-around great weekend full of fun and fueled by coffee! :) Let's just say it was much needed in so many ways!! I thank God for good friends, with similarities that I have, who I can relate with! What a blessing!! π
'Sew'... Here are some fun Snippets from our weekend!...
Mrs. Candy and little Amelia on their way to the Cinderella play.
They had a Ball of a time! And don't they just look pretty?!
While I kept the other two that evening, we just watched a movie, had popcorn and they went straight to bed! Such sweet little one's!!
That night, once the girls got back, us three decided to stay up and do our toenails, then once Amelia went to bed, Candy and I had a good evening of important girl, accountability, best of friends, most definitely needed conversations accompanied by wine!! π₯

The next morning, we started off with a few cups of coffee, a delicious breakfast and got started sewing on Candy's amazingly gorgeous double sided apron...
Ironing.
Cutting pattern.
First stitches for Candy - sewing on a pocket.
Happy new seamstress!
Finished product.
I mean, look at that detail and so professional!!
Other side. π

And the next day, we had a yummy breakfast of toasted super healthy nutty bread with Amish butter and eggs with cheese, fruits and more coffee!! Then right after that, we got started on a couple of pillowcase nightgowns...
Sewing machine broke on us, but luckily it was toward the end...
Taking it apart, trying to figure it out.
The final discovery, broken Check Spring.
Aren't they just so cute?!
Pretty little homemade pillowcase gowns...
Here, I asked Evelyn to turn her back to me so I could get a picture of the back flower as well as the one on the front and this is the look she gave me! Then, David jumped right in there for a quick little pose! π€£ Love them!!
Amelia jumped in after that to show us her stuff too, and it just cracked Evelyn up so much here! π
And then, wouldn't you know it, the kids snuck outside to go to the trampoline so we decided to let them jump. Then on their way back through, they got into a muddy puddle and had themselves a good ol' time!!
The Gown is still in the process of being washed, and uncertain of whether or not it will all come out at this point... π₯
But I mean, weren't they just so cute?! You can't take back those precious memories that they were having, enjoying their time together and of course, all kids should have the opportunity of jumping in mud puddles at one point or so in their life!! π
Happy Monday friends!!
