Christmas Stockings

I have been working on making Christmas stockings for our family of three since last year.  The ones I attempted last year were way too small and falling apart before I even put anything in them!  And this year, I, again did not use a pattern...  I thought I had it all figured out through mapping it out in my head before I even got to cutting and sewing...  But, there is one thing I messed up on... Where I have folded the top over, you can see the unfinished seam on the inside.  But, if that is all for now, I am happy with these for the next few years at least!!

This year we got some great gifts from each other, as we had also given great gifts to one another, at our Craft Night Christmas Party!
This mini bunting on my mantle that says 'Merry Christmas' was made by Jennifer...  And she crafted 5 more holidays of buntings for each of us ladies.  That is 6 buntings each × 8... 48 buntings total!!  She is dedicated, let me tell you!

A tea towel of a girl with a pie (that's supposed to be me!  ;) made by Jessica.

A very pretty white snowflake (foamy/papery) wreath made by Heather.

A lovely Christmas-y candle, decorated by Sharon.  There was also a beautiful paper cut card that she hand made.

And the things that I didn't have pictures of are a lovely canvas bag by Ashley, a clear ball ornament with the music Silent Night cut up and curled into strips inside of it by Rachel, a canvas knitted ornament of ice skates by Cathy and some homemade applesauce and a knitted headband by Joanna.  :)  These girls are awesome...and oh so crafty!!

A Few Christmas Crafts

I have really been in the mood for Christmas lately!!  As I should be, it is only 17 days away!  That's right friends, only 17 MORE DAYS until fat and jolly Saint Nick comes!!  I am "renovating a home" A Barbie home, that is.   One my dad made for me when I was a little girl, and now one that my little girl will get!   Another blog will come soon entirely on that, as soon as i finish it.   Anyhoo...  I still have lots to do (when Evelyn is napping) but these 2 things, I was able to accomplish and let her help me with.

Flat Felt Mice.
I have a red and green one I've had for as long as I can remember,  not sure where it came from!  But, it has always been an ornament that just sits right on a limb of our Christmas tree...  So, I guess that's what these are...  Or, their recipients can just place them wherever best suits them!   ;)

Vintage Clothespin Santa's

Aren't they just darling? ...and armless?!

And here is a sneak peek at my doll house...  (This was a bed that my dad made to go inside it.  Look how nasty and dingy that thing is!!)  I was really going to put the before picture of the house on here, but when I went to looking for it, I realized I have it on my camera and not my phone...  So, this is my teaser for now!

See you all soon!!
