Stuff...

A sign I made to sell at the shop.

A world cake for a travel baby shower I made.  Fluffy vanilla cake from scratch (my first non-box one ever!) with homemade butter cream frosting.  And some sprinkles.  :)

My template after the fact...  I had to use a spray bottle to for a light mist on the parts where the sprinkles needed to stay.

The Bunny Train

Cheers on this day after St. Patty's Day to you with my glass of Cabernet as I'm blogging.  Ha!

So, last Saturday, Andy's sister treated us to the 1st Annual" Easter Bunny Train" hosted by TVRM.  We totally thought the bunny was going to be in the train, but in fact, he was at the East Chattanooga station in the "Fun House".  There was a bunny story, mini golf (2 little holes), coloring, hula hoop toss, and an Easter themed maze (but unfortunitely of course not the TRUE Easter decor -- We have to be politically correct and not offend anyone,  right?...  Hogwash!!)

Anyhoo, back to the fun.

Here are just a few fun pictures from the day.

Evelyn thought the tattoo was the coolest thing.

Andy and I snuck away to go check out an old incline car...  Very sketchy!  But then on the way back, we went into another old RR car to see what it looked like inside and discovered it was a Mail Car.
It had this cool wall of sorting boxes.

Hooks where the mail bags would hang for delivery once sorted.

So cool!!  I especially liked the green paint with the rust.   I know, I'm weird like that!

4 days later, Evelyn got her 2nd haircut of her life.  I think I'm going to have to just learn to do it myself!  ;)  She did great!

A Normal Week With Ev

Last week, Evelyn and I did lots of things...  But, in all actuality, this is sort of what a normal week looks like for us...  Nor too boring.

Got ready for church and looking dashing!

Painting fun!

Went walking with some good pals,  Jessica and Eleonora, but unfortunitely no picture to show for it.  :(

Story Time at the Library and some more painting fun (with friends).

Didn't get a picture with Smoky the Bear at sorry hour, but the nice Wildlife Officers came and gave each kid a bracelet, a pack of gummy bugs and a Yellow Poplar tree.  :)  And you know me, I was super excited to have something new to plant!  ;)  And so was Evelyn...
Planting...
And
Watering.

On this day, (while walking around the yard in such lovely weather), I thought she was just looking particularly cute!  :)

We spent many days outside in the yard, throwing balls for Nala and chasing her, picking dandelion flowers and blowing puffs, turning over rocks to find bugs, smelling flowers and taking carrots to the neighbors horse Clementine, playing in another neighbors' waterfall/pond, and getting tossed into the air like a champ by Daddy, just to name a few!

My favorite tree we planted a few years ago...  Magnolia Soulangeana.

Tennessee Aquarium

Last Tuesday was Evelyn's 4th and Eleonora 1st trip to the Tennessee Aquarium.  And what better way to do it than with your close friends!?

We arrived around 9:15, just a short 45 minutes before the place actually opened (guess I should've checked into that - Whoops!).  It was drizzling rain and none of us were actually dressed for that sort of weather...  We had to find somewhere to go, so we finally choose this little coffee shop to chill at for a bit.   And what a great (nasty, cold, wet) day to have a nice cup of chai latte, as I did!  :)

There was a butterfly garden.

Look at that amazement!!

Evelyn.  Heart.

The girls checking out some turtles together.

I didn't even know you could go in the middle of this crab tank...  But once I showed the girls how it was done, I could hardly get them out!  Especially my curious child.   ;)

We all decided to test out this "resting spot".  Eleonora seemed to enjoy it the most.  ;)

Lots of fishies!!!

And a shark tank of course.

A fun time was had by all!!
