Craft Weekend

Me and my good crafting Buddies decided we should all take a Craft Weekend trip and stay the night somewhere.  One of our crafting friends Meagan, who had moved away, came up with this great idea to get together.  But, Jessica and Jennifer have also been wanting to and talking about hosting a craft weekend sometime anyhow...  So this just seemed like the perfect opportunity to make it happen!  :)  Those of us without children stayed 2 nights.  And so we decided while we were together that we would make this an annual occurrence.  And although I will still have  a little one next year, I plan to stay both nights because the one night was just not long enough!   We all had a fantastic time!!

Jennifer had just made this cute little sign to put on our bathroom door, and we decided with my hair up in a bun like that, it sort of looked like my profile,... once I stretched my neck out of course as Jessica instructed... LOL!

Our beautifully put together table.

Here are some flowers I picked to put in vases to help spruce up our cabin for the weekend.

A wild turkey on the premises.

First craft that evening, led by Jennifer.

A chalk/painted sign.

Everyone working very hard on theirs.

So lovely!

One of our pregnant Crafters making the strawberry daiquiris for us... Ha!  ;)

Jessica's craft the next morning was a pillowcase that I will post a picture about later when I get it finished.  :)

Happy 30th!!

Happy 30th birthday to me!!:  A month late post.

It was a wonderful time of birthday celebrations last month!  And I must say that turning 30 feels just about the same as 29!  Ha!  Here are a few pictures for you all.

From my Craft Night birthday surprise...  It was a garden / baking thing.  The food was done up nice and cute!  There was also a dirt cake with orange frosting carrots and green stems of licorice coming out... Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of that to show.  A good time was had by all!

A couple birthday gifts to show about...  Andy got me this cake carrier which I absolutely love!

A friend, Jalena, made these labels for me after I had sent her a picture about a week or two before my surprise party that I would just like to order from her.  :)  Sweet!

Some other things, not pictured are...  Daffodils from Heather, a lovely Garden sign from Ashley, more flowers from Sharon, an apron made by Jessica, and a cute watering can monogrammed by Jennifer.  A French rolling pin and  fancy  double oven glove from my mother, a sunflower platter from my sister-in-law, and money (woohoo!)

Then there was another surprise party!  Totally a surprise to me!!  I was told I was going to a 10 year old's birthday party, one of my good friends daughters... So, I of course brought her a gift to -my- birthday party!!  Again, a fun time was had by all!  :)

This text picture says it all with the look on my face!

Evelyn enjoying my cakes frosting.

Andy lighting all 30 of my candles!

Me blowing out all 30 of my candles, quite easily I must say!

Happy happy happy!!!

More Fun with Evelyn

Evelyn loves gardening too!  :)

This flower bed is my best looking one by far!!

Evie loves helping with watering the flowers, but our watering cans were much too big and heavy for her to help with...  So, for Easter, she got one just her size!

Here, she is watering some Gladiolus bulbs she also got in her Easter basket.

Kissing her tree.

Painting a sincatcher.

I took this picture mostly because of the cross shaped jet smoke in the background.
Happy Easter!  He is risen!!

Play dough hair dressing.

Loves swingin' like her Momma!!

Happy April!!
